Protecting Oneself Outside of School… From Creepers

“I don’t feel threatened, I mean the chances of being attacked are slim, and since I’m somewhat of a big guy, it doesn’t really bother me,” comments sophomore, Eric Bonilla.

However, the predator has had greater reports in the center of the valley. Georgraphically, this covers Panorama City, Arleta, Van Nuys, and North Hills.

Everyone can be a victim of this person however, the threat greater targets the young females not only in this school but all the school around the entire San Fernando Valley. For many students, the valley has been a home to them.

Earth Day Swap

On April 19, 2012 students participated in the annual Earth Day event where different family homerooms provide an activity to help the environment. Looking back through my four years, there have been special moments that have occurred. High School was not at all what I expected it to be. Each memory has caught me by surprise. Each memory has also taught me several lessons in which I can apply as I go onto college. I can barely count

Prom 2012

On April 20, 2012 students of St. Genevieve High School celebrated their Senior Prom at Marina Del Ray. Prom was an overall success. The girls all looked beautiful with their dresses while the guys looked spiffy with their tuxedos. The yacht that hosted St. Genevieve’s prom had three different floors. The first floor being the dining area, the second floor hosted the dance, while the third floor was an open area in which allowed you to look out into the ocean. The whole set had a Titanic feeling to it.

Earth Day Recap

On April 19, 2012 students of St. Genevieve High School participated with several activities that can either broaden their knowledge about the Earth or participated in activities that helped our environment. Each activity depended on the decisions made in their individual family homerooms.

The family homerooms of Ms. Hernandez, Ms. Rincon, and Mr. Mejia all went to Ralphs on Woodman and Sherman Way. Each homeroom were advised to be at school at nine if they wanted to walk or if they chose to drive they were advised to be at Ralphs by ten o’clock.
